Newton Membrane 508 Clear 40m2 is a high quality 8mm stud Cavity Drain HDPE Membrane. Part of the John Newton 500 system of cavity membranes suitable for waterproofing new build basements and basement conversions.

Suitable for application to walls and floors in damp proofing and waterproofing soil retaining walls, cellar and basement tanking and conversions and new build basement construction.

Used in conjunction with drainage this membrane conforms to the British standard for structural waterproofing, BS8102: 2009 Type C system.

This product would be accepted by Building Control and Conservation Officers.

This membrane can be battened out from using pre-treated timber battens or metal fast track dry lining systems or and independent stud system installed in front of it.

Retaining walls can be built off this membrane using wall tie fixings secured into the Newton Multi Plug Fixing.
