Rytons Cowled Super Acoustic LookRyt® AirCore® AAC125LPCWL
AAC125LPCWL is a retro-fitted combustion air vent for boilers, stoves and fires. With external cowl protects against excessive weather conditions and alleviates air blasts through the cavity.
Super acoustic lining reduces sound by 45 dB Dn,e,w for a more peaceful environment.
Ideal for rooms affected by noise pollution such as busy road traffic, rail lines, airports, industrial areas.
HETAS approved product for use with solid fuel appliances.
WARNING: Not suitable for use in external walls in high-rise buildings with a storey 18m or more above ground level due to Regulation 7(2) and Building Regulations Approved Document B.
Not suitable for use in external walls in buildings with a storey 11m or more above ground level due to Building (Scotland) technical handbook 2019: domestic and non-domestic, 2.7.

Unique draught reducing internal panel disperses air evenly into the room for improved comfort.
Paint or wallpaper the internal panel to match room décor for a discreet appearance.
External water baffle prevents transfer of water across the cavity.
Interlocking components aid correct positioning, alignment and easy installation.
Grilles embossed with DO NOT BLOCK.
External grille U.V. stabilised to slow down the effects of sunlight.
Screws provided to secure the internal panel.
HETAS approved for use with solid fuel appliances.
Equivalent area tested to BS EN 13141-1:2004 and independently verified by the BRE.
Acoustic performance tests by BRE Acoustics.
Screws: The four screws provided are for fixing the internal LookRyt® backplate to the internal wall. Any suitable fixings can be used for the external grille, dependent on the external surface.
Fitting the tube and external grille:
Drill a hole using a 127mm diameter core drill.
Cut tube to length if necessary then insert the tube into the hole.
Align and screw the external backplate and louvre grille into position.
Tip: Save installation time by securing the external louvre grille to the backplate with a mastic sealant.
Fasten the cowl to the brickwork through the preformed holes in the flange around the cowl.
Fitting the internal LookRyt® panel:
Align and screw the LookRyt® backplate to the wall using the screws provided.
When happy with the positioning of the backplate, push fit the LookRyt® face plate on to finish.
The LookRyt® face plate may be painted or wallpapered to match the room décor.
