Solseal Rubberised Bitumen Emulsion 10Ltrs
Solseal Rubberised Bitumen Emulsion is a solvent free rubber-asphaltic emulsion used to form a waterproof elastic film.
Suitable for applications such as:
Protection of retaining walls
Ponds
Water tanks
Water conduits
Dampness and leaks
Dividing walls
Foundations
Water based, non-toxic, non-hazardous, solvent free
Good bond to many substrates, strengthens porous surfaces
Two coat application by brush or roller
Touch dry typically dry in 3 – 5 hours
Coverage: 1.5 – 2ltrs in one coat subject to porosity.
Colour: Black
The surface needs to be clean, sound and free from dust, loose material or free surface water.
The membrane should not be applied in wet conditions or where these conditions are likely to occur before the membrane has dried.
The membrane should not be applied when the temperature of the background, or the air temperature, is below 7°c.
It sometimes advantageous to pre-wet concrete or masonry backgrounds, so that these are damp but free from any water glistening on the surface.
