Wall Reform Damp Proofing Insulating Thermal Render is a lightweight alternative to sand and cement render suitable for internal use on walls over traditional sand/cement render, brickwork,
blockwork and concrete substrates, where there has been rising damp and a remedial dpc treatment has been injected.
Wall Reform is BBA approved and tested by the BRE to determine energy savings to the property owner for its application.
Because this product helps reduce Carbon Emissions (CO2) it can be charged, along with ALL ASSOCIATED works, at 5% VAT, including removing and refitting skirting boards, radiators, etc.
Wall Reform packs come in two components that together only weigh 12.25kg. One pack is equivalent to 1 x 25kg bag of cement and 5 x 25kg bags of sand, 150kg in total! This saves your back, your van’s suspension and is altogether for suitable for Health & Safety as the production of dust is also considerably less compared to sand and cement rendering.
Coverage rate: for one pack of Wall Reform is 4.5m2 to 5m2 in a 10mm thick application.
The associated products used with Wall Reform Insulating Thermal Render are a primer coat of EVA to the host substrate and repeated to the cured application of wall-reform before the skim coat and a skim coat product such as British Gypsum Multi Finish.
Please note: Do not substitute EVA for PVA as the system will fail. EVA promotes breathability allowing the wall to dry down properly and achieves the high strength bond to the wall that PVA will not.
Using the EVA primer, Wall Reform damp proofing thermal render also bonds to damp proofing cavity mesh membranes such as Triton Platon, Wykamol Eco Mesh, Newton Mesh. This allows render to be applied to whatever thickness is needed to match the existing plaster whilst accommodating an impermeable damp proofing cavity mesh membrane. It will not crack!
