Waterstop Waterbar Swellable Paste
Waterstop Waterbar Swellable Paste is a high quality, one component polyurethane adhesive which swells in contact with water. Upon contact with water, the paste can expand up to 450% of its original volume.
For use with DryFix Waterstop Water Bar and Dryfix Bentinite Waterstop Bar
Application
- No primer is required when applying waterstop waterbar swellable paste on a clean concrete surface
- For optimal adhesion, a stable, clean, dust, oil and fat-free surface is recommended. If required, cleaning with acetone or isopropanol is recommended
- Optimal fixation is achieved when the full contact area of the water swellable sealing bar is covered with paste
- After application of the paste, the water swellable sealing bar needs to be pressed down, to ensure full contact with the paste underneath and to achieve optimal adhesion
