  • Please note: This item is a plastic component and therefore is not suitable for use within a) the external walls of buildings more than 11m high where people sleep on the premises (residential, institutional or hospitality) or b) external wall surfaces within 1m of the boundary if the building is 11m high or less, in England.

  • External grille: 166mm L x 160mm H.
  • Tube: 127mm (5″) Dia. x 358mm L (if required, a maximum 63mm may be cut from each end of the tube).
  • LookRyt® panel: 172mm L x 172mm H.

Screws: The four screws provided are for fixing the internal LookRyt® backplate to the internal wall. Any suitable fixings can be used for the external grille, dependent on the external surface.

Fitting the tube and external grille:

Drill a hole using a 127mm diameter core drill.

Cut tube to length if necessary (maximum reduction 63mm from each end) then insert the tube into the hole.

Align and screw the external backplate and louvre grille into position. Tip: Save installation time by securing the external louvre grille to the backplate with a mastic sealant.

In exposed areas consideration should be given to using Rytons AirCore® Cowl (ABC8).

Fitting the internal LookRyt® panel:

Align and screw the LookRyt® backplate to the wall using the screws provided.
When happy with the positioning of the backplate, push fit the LookRyt® face plate on to finish.

The LookRyt® face plate may be painted or wallpapered to match the room décor.
