Sovereign AquaChek Plus 5ltr

Sovereign AquaChek Plus is a state of the art water based water repellent for masonry substrates. Sovereign AquaChek is a novel blend of alkylpolysiloxane in an aqueous dispersion of hydrophobic substances. It is supplied as a concentrate for dilution with water prior to use.

AquaChek has zero VOC – no organic solvent.

Sovereign AquaChekcan be used on a wide variety of porous building materials to impart water repellency. AquaChek is resistant to alkaline attack making it particularly suitable for use on fresh concrete. AquaChek Plus has little effect on the water vapour permeability of substrates, so allowing walls to breath.

AquaChek Plus meets the requirements of BS6477:1992 – Specification for Water Repellents for Masonry Surfaces.

Sovereign AquaChek has the following advantages over conventional solvent based water repellents:

• Contains NO solvent.
• Pronounced beading effect lasts much longer (years, not months).
• Virtually no change in surface appearance.
• Solvent based products can darken masonry considerably.
• Sovereign AquaChek Plus is a milky white emulsion, but dries clear on masonry.

5 litres of Sovereign AquaChek Plus when diluted with 10 ltrs of clean water will cover approximately 22m² using a two-coat application, dependant on the porosity of the substrate.

For surfaces that are open to the elements or particularly exposed may benefit from Sovereign WeatherChek Facade Cream
