BASEMENT DRAINAGE CHANNEL
Basement drainage channel is used with a cavity drain membrane installation to collect ground water in a channel and divert it either to an external drainage gully under a gravity feed or to a basement sump system with submersible pumps.
Basement drainage channel is typically installed with a channel system which is sunk into a drainage gully within the floor slab and sitting on top of a slab butted into position with a closed cell insulation board.
Rodding (jetting) eyes are incorporated into the drainage system to allow for routine servicing which makes the installation compatible with BS8102 and will be signed off by building control.
