Airtech Air+ PIV Loft Vent With Heater & Radon Mode
Airtech Air+ PIV loft vent with heater gently operates in the background, pushing out stale humid air and replacing it with fresh filtered air from outside.
Offering the following features:
Tamper resistant code meaning only authorised installer or users can adjust the unit.
Automatic boost utilising warm air from solar gain in the loft.
Two locations to install the heater.
The heater can easily be disengaged.
Located in the loft, Air+ PIV draws fresh air from the loft space where it is filtered and warmed before being gently delivered into the habitable areas of the house. Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is proven to reduce both condensation and black mould.
Air+ PIV is supplied with an energy efficient preheater to temper incoming air. Designed to stop heat loss in the duct, Air+ PIV increases input air temperature by up to four degrees vs other traditional PIVs available.
Radon Mode – Radon mode keeps the fan running even at high temperatures to prevent the build-up of dangerous radon gas in the property. If this is not required, it is recommended not to use this setting.
Easy fix anti-vibration base and hanging kit supplied as standard to allow installation across a base fixed over the joists or to be suspended from roof rafters.
The easy to use integral dynamic controls allow for a quick and easy installation set up.
As an optional extra, a data logger can be installed to provide data recall showing running conditions and unit performance. Price available on request.
High grade G4 or F7 filters offer industry leading levels of filtration. Filter efficiency is also displayed via the front display.
The new low profile diffuser with sound cancelling technology can be cleaned easily and directs air away from fire alarms and walls.
Typical annual running cost is around £29.00.
This product is supported by a manufacturers 5 year parts warranty.
We advise all PIV ventilation systems are supported by good quality extract fans in Kitchens, Bathrooms and Utility rooms and if window trickle vents are not available that background through-the-wall vents are installed in a couple of rooms front and back of the property to allow for the replacement process of the change or air to fully take place.
