Battery Back-Up Pump System

The battery back-up system is designed for use with cavity membrane installation basement sump systems where the possibility of primary pump failure through either a pump fault or loss of mains power could lead to the system becoming overwhelmed with water ingress resulting in a failure and subsequent flooding.

Installing contractors and waterproofing designers as a duty of care, should at least advise and make their client aware of the importance of alarm and back-up systems in the instance pump failure and the options available for back-up.

The system comprises:

1 x control panel

1 x 24V back-up pump

3 no. float switches and a non-return valve.

Flow rate: 180ltrs per minute

Maximum head: 6.5mtrs

Battery Life: 45 minutes
