This new Drive Fix Helical Remedial Wall Tie SDS install tool for power driving helical wall ties into position, is a clever adaptation made by our helical wall tie manufacturers from the dearer, heavy duty, SDS adaptor tool and is near half the price!

The install tool is ideal for damp proofers and bulders who do not do large volume wall tie jobs in which case, the heavy duty SDS adaptor is the more durable tool. The manufacturer states this tool is better suited to jobs of around 300 replacement ties before the embedment tips need to be replaced.

Drive Fix Helical Remedial Wall Tie SDS Install Tool are available in 8mm and 10mm sizes according to the diameter of wall tie you are installing. Replacement embedment tips are also supplied in 8mm and 10mm sizes. Please seclect the correct size.

Installation procedure as per manufacturers data sheet:

1. Insert the SDS adaptor into the SDS hammer drill, then set to hammer only. Then place the wall tie into the adaptor and offer to the pre-drilled substrate.

2. Drive the wall tie fully home until the shoulder of the adaptor hits the substrate.

3. Insert the appropriate size embedment tip into the SDS adaptor.

4. Locate the end of the tie into the embedment tip, then drive the tie fully home until the tie is below the surface of the substrate.
