Koster KD System Pack 4m²

Koster KD Syatem Pack is a system package for the negative side waterproofing of mineral surfaces against pressurised water such as in internal basement waterproofing. The Koster KD System stops flowing water and forms a permanent waterproofing layer on masonry and concrete. All components of the Koster KD System combined in one package.

Features: 

The environmentally friendly Koster KD System stops active water ingress and safely seals off pressurised water from the negative side. It is resistant to salts which are harmful to the building structure and to aggressive substances which are present in the ground. Salts will not detach the fully cured Koster KD System coating from the substrate.

The system consists of 3 products:

1. Koster KD 1 Base 7.5kg – Fast curing mineral sealing slurry with excellent resistance to aggressive ground water and high water pressure.
2. Koster KD 2 Blitzpowder 7.5kg – Highly reactive powder with extremely short setting time. With application of the dry powder, active water leaks are sealed within seconds.
3. Koster KD 3 Sealer 3kg – Extremely low viscosity silicifying liquid. The active ingredients penetrate deeply into the substrate and react to form an insoluble compound. The pores are plugged and permanently sealed through the mineralization process.

Fields of Application:

For waterproofing basements from the inside, waterproofing manholes, as well as for all other waterproofing against non-pressurised and pressurised water from the positive or the negative side on mineral substrates.

Koster KD 2 can also be used for sealing and closing cracks prior to the use of injection resins.

Consumption:

Koster KD 1 Base: approx. 1.5 – 2.5 kg / m²
Koster KD 2 Blitz Powder: approx. 1.0 – 2.0 kg / m²
Koster KD 3 Sealer: approx. 0.5 kg / m²
