No More Damp Renovation Plaster 20Kg
No More Damp Renovation Plaster is designed to have similar properties to a 1:1:6 cement:lime:sand plastering mortar. Lightweight, perlite aggregates replace a portion of the sand to reduce heat loss and condensation. Fibres are incorporated into the product to control shrinkage and improve flexural strength. In addition, special waterproofing additives along with a porous structure effectively control dampness and salt migration whilst allowing the wall to dry out. Wykamol Renovation Plaster can also be used in conjunction with Wykamol’s basement systems such as HydraDry or Tanking Slurry.

FINISHING
Leave Wykamol No More Damp Renovation Plaster to set for a minimum of 48 hours before applying High Impact Plaster Finish. Apply in line with relevant data sheet, which is available upon request or can be downloaded from our website.
NOTE: Wykamol’s High Impact Plaster Finish is the only tested finishing plaster which will interact with Wykamol’s replastering system as intended. If finish coats other than High Impact Plaster Finish are applied, we cannot guarantee the system will work as intended. Where scratch coats are left as a finish a high quality wood float finish may be used.
After insertion of a DPC the residual water in the wall must evaporate before normal dry conditions are achieved. All replacement skirting etc. should be either pre-treated or treated with a suitable preservative e.g. Wykamol’s Microtech Dual Concentrate.
DECORATION
Allow High Impact Plaster Finish to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before applying decorative finishes.
Breathable paint must be used if High Impact Plaster Finish has been applied as part of the Replastering System, after a DPC. If redecoration is to occur 12 months after the DPC installation, non-breathable finishes may be used.
If permanent and impermeable finishes are being considered, e.g. non-breathable paints or wallpaper, the moisture content of the plaster and background must be in line with the recommendations of the supplier of the chosen finish.
