Nvirol Waterseal masonry water repellent brick sealer is a high active ingredient silicone silane chemical applied to prevent rain water penetration into brick, stone, render, concrete and other masonry based materials.
If your property has external walls that are exposed to the elements, particularly south west facing, it is important to keep the facing brick and pointing in good condition to prevent the passage of rainwater migrating across cavity insulation infill or solid wall construction through to the internal, decorated finish.
Once re-pointing has been done, repairs to guttering or sturctural defect have been carried out, an application of Nvirol Waterseal masonry repellent brick sealer should be applied to the entire wall to prevent surface water.
Nvirol Waterseal can be applied in one coat only but for properties or walls particularly exposed to the elements we recommend a two coat application.

For those hard to reach areas using a step ladder, we supply a handy 3.2m Telescopic Lance for use with the Osatu Spray Applicator.
Please note: This product CAN be over painted with breathable exterior masonry paint. Allow masonry water repellent to dry before painting.
It cannot be applied to painted surfaces.
Coverage: 1 litre will cover 8m2 (subject to the porosity of the surface and application method.)
Available in 5Ltr and 25Ltr containers.
N-virol Silicone Waterseal can be applied to damp surfaces.
Moving from top to bottom apply with a brush or low pressure spraying (avoid using a fine mist). Ideally N-virol Silicone Waterseal should only be applied when no rainfall is expected in order to allow treated surfaces to dry and cure.
Treatment should be in wind free conditions to minimise spray drift. A second coat can be applied (advisable where substrate is very porous) this should be done whilst the walls are still wet from the first coat.
