Airflow 4” (100mm), Background Vent with external cowl for condensation control comes complete with an 2 x optional 30ppi 25mm thick polyester flame-retardant washable foam filters for the reduction of draughts and noise pollution.

The foam filters allows the transfer, under natural pressure, of high internal humidity to the outside whilst capturing any unwanted dust particles from air coming in. It can be accessed from removing the internal grille for regular cleaning.

The Airflow 4” core background vent benefits from a robust external wind blast cowl which prevents the passage of wind driven rain against the vent grille.

The liner is extendable to a maximum length of 380mm which is sufficient for walls up to 15” thick. The external cowl does not need to be mortared into place but either an adhesive of fixing screws used to secure in place.

The internal grille is a louvred grille in white.

This vent can also be used as a non-combustible warm air appliance vent, but the foam filters must NOT be fitted in order the full Free Area capacity of 148cm² is available.

The external cowl has colour options which are: Brown, White and Terracotta, however they are a keyed surface so will accept a paint application of a different colour but this should be a UV stable external paint product.
