Retro-fitted core ventilator for background room ventilation.
Super acoustic lining reduces sound by 43 dB with internal panel fully open and 50 dB when closed (Dn,e,w).
Use in noisy areas to reduce the amount of noise entering the building for a more peaceful environment.

WARNING: Not suitable for use in external walls in high-rise buildings with a storey 18m or more above ground level due to Regulation 7(2) and Building Regulations Approved Document B.

Unique draught reducing internal panel disperses air evenly into the room for improved comfort.
Panel manually adjusted with an easy push/pull or tilt action allowing ventilation to be controlled as required.
Paint or wallpaper the internal panel to match room décor for a discreet appearance.
External water baffle prevents transfer of water across the cavity.
Interlocking components aid correct positioning, alignment and easy installation.
External grille U.V. stabilised to slow down the effects of sunlight.
Screws provided to secure the internal panel.
Equivalent area 85cm² tested to BS EN 13141-1:2004 and independently verified by the BRE.
Acoustic performance tests by BRE Acoustics.
IMPORTANT! Do not clip the LookRyt® face plate to the LookRyt® backplate until the backplate is fixed to the wall using the screws provided.
Screws: The four screws provided are for fixing the internal panel to the internal wall. Any suitable fixings can be used for the external grille, dependent on the external surface.
To comply with Building Regulations Part F the ventilator should be sited not less than 1.7m above floor level.
Fitting the tube and external grille:
Drill a hole using a 127mm diameter core drill.
Cut tube to length if necessary then insert the tube into the hole.
Align and screw the external backplate and louvre grille into position. Tip: Save installation time by securing the external louvre grille to the backplate with a mastic sealant.
In exposed areas consideration should be given to using Rytons AirCore® Cowl (ABC8).
Fitting the internal LookRyt® panel:
Do not fit the two parts of the LookRyt® panel together yet!
Align and screw the LookRyt® backplate to the wall using the screws provided.
When happy with the positioning of the backplate, push fit the LookRyt® face plate on to finish.
The grille may now be opened and closed using a push/pull or tilt action.
The LookRyt® face plate may be painted or wallpapered to match the room décor.

First rate customer service from Alliance. However, this item is extremely over-priced. This should not reflect on Alliance. It’s basically a piece of plastic pipe with some foam rolled up inside it. It’s really not something that should be priced above £30 IMO. Rytons are taking the Mick!
